Artist: Gossamer Rozen
Gossamer Rozen is a Brooklyn-based artist and the founder of Tigerbob, a fine art, character, and luxury knitwear brand they launched in 2022. Their practice spans machine knitting, hand-drawn illustration, plush, digital art, and stick-and-poke tattooing, all unified by a distinctive pixel- and grid-based visual language rooted in their textile work.
Rozen approaches tattooing as one expression of a larger character world. The same motifs that appear in their cashmere tapestries and knitted garments (e.g., blocky shapes, repeating patterns, the recurring Tigerbob figure) translate naturally to skin, where the pixel grid becomes a permanent mark rather than a stitched one.
Collection: Tigerbob & Friends
Tigerbob & Friends is drawn from the cast of characters at the heart of Gossamer's Tigerbob universe. Tigerbob, the brand's central figure, anchors the collection alongside the recurring companions and motifs that populate Rozen's broader body of work across knitwear, plush, prints, and tapestries.
The designs carry over the pixel-grid aesthetic Rozen developed through machine knitting and jacquard textiles: a visual language built from small squares, where each unit is a deliberate choice. Rendered as a tattoo, the result is graphic, geometric, and instantly recognizable as part of the Tigerbob world.

Placement Options
What to expect
Yes — significantly less.
Most clients describe traditional tattooing as a 6–7 out of 10 on the pain scale.
Blackdot is typically rated around a 1–2 out of 10.
Because the system delivers ink with controlled, consistent precision and minimal skin trauma, the experience feels far gentler than conventional tattooing.
While sensitivity varies depending on placement and individual tolerance, clients are often surprised by how comfortable the process is.
Healing time depends on the placement and your body, but Blackdot tattoos typically heal faster than traditional tattoos. Most clients experience surface healing within 1–2 weeks, with full healing generally completed in 3–4 weeks. Following proper aftercare ensures the best results.
Please bring a valid government-issued ID, as well as your confirmation details. We recommend arriving well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten beforehand. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
