Your Design, Tattooed by Blackdot

Turn your own design into a tattoo applied by robot—using the same process behind every design in our marketplace. Submit a loved one’s handwriting, a child’s drawing, your own artwork, a personal photograph, a QR code, a logo you created, or another finished image you have permission to use.

Every submission is reviewed to confirm that it can be translated into a clear, machine-compatible tattoo that will work at the requested size and placement. We may make technical adjustments needed for robotic application, but this service does not include creating a new design from inspiration or reference images.

Once your design has been prepared, we’ll send you a rendering for review. After you approve it, you’ll receive a link to pay and book your tattoo appointment.

Bring Your Own Design tattoos are typically priced between $500 and $1000. Final pricing is confirmed before booking and depends on the design details, required preparation, size, and placement.

Does it hurt less than a traditional tattoo ?

Yes — significantly less.

Most clients describe traditional tattooing as a 6–7 out of 10 on the pain scale.

Blackdot is typically rated around a 1–2 out of 10.

Because the system delivers ink with controlled, consistent precision and minimal skin trauma, the experience feels far gentler than conventional tattooing.

While sensitivity varies depending on placement and individual tolerance, clients are often surprised by how comfortable the process is.

What is the healing time ?

Healing time depends on the placement and your body, but Blackdot tattoos typically heal faster than traditional tattoos. Most clients experience surface healing within 1–2 weeks, with full healing generally completed in 3–4 weeks. Following proper aftercare ensures the best results.

What do I need to bring to my appointment ?

Please bring a valid government-issued ID, as well as your confirmation details. We recommend arriving well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten beforehand. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
