Artist: John Craig
John Craig is a renowned illustrator and graphic designer with over 40 years of experience, based in rural southwestern Wisconsin. Originally from Pittsburgh, he knew he wanted to be an artist by the third grade and describes himself as a "see-it-all," driven to explore art at every level.
His work centers on collage, a process he has evolved from hand-cut paper to multilayered Photoshop compositions. "I do not like to preconceive an idea and then collage by number," he says. "The surprise of laying images side by side and seeing those relationships develop in front of me is more immediate."
Collection: Mellon Collie Illustrations (1995)
The Mellon Collie collection is a subset of Craig's original artwork for The Smashing Pumpkins' Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness double album. The designs currently on offer are the small glyphs Craig created to accompany each song in the album's lyric book, visual companions to the music.
Make your selection based on the song each glyph accompanies in the lyric book, or simply choose the design that resonates with you most.

Placement Options
What to expect
Yes — significantly less.
Most clients describe traditional tattooing as a 6–7 out of 10 on the pain scale.
Blackdot is typically rated around a 1–2 out of 10.
Because the system delivers ink with controlled, consistent precision and minimal skin trauma, the experience feels far gentler than conventional tattooing.
While sensitivity varies depending on placement and individual tolerance, clients are often surprised by how comfortable the process is.
Healing time depends on the placement and your body, but Blackdot tattoos typically heal faster than traditional tattoos. Most clients experience surface healing within 1–2 weeks, with full healing generally completed in 3–4 weeks. Following proper aftercare ensures the best results.
Please bring a valid government-issued ID, as well as your confirmation details. We recommend arriving well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten beforehand. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
